Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. She is best known for her role in the FX horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021). In her role as Portia in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated to the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn Sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits (2017). Vice (2018). Fractured (1999). The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe was also part of the television series The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2021), The Underground Railroad (2021), The First Lady (2022) Rabe made her debut on screen in 2001, alongside Jill Clayburgh, Rabe's mother. At the Gloucester Stage Company, Massachusetts She made her stage debut with her mother. Two one-act plays written by Israel Horovitz, Speaking Well of the Dead as well as The Crazy Girl, by Frank Pugliese were the roles which brought her an Equity Card. In July 2003 she was in Proof by David Auburn at the Gloucester Stage Company. She was also featured in the movie Mona Lisa Smile. She returned to New York shortly after she finished her studies. Deirdre starred in White Jesus from September 29 until October 2 in 2004, one of several one-act plays performed by The Democracy Project at The Naked Angels Theater Company.
