Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara has received a variety of awards, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also won two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020 she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara made her debut as an actor in 1974, when she was in The Second City, an improv comedy group located in Toronto. She was a part of the principal cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. In the following year, O'Hara and Candy began working in the sketch comedy program Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned critical acclaim for both her work as a comedic actress and as a writer, securing an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for an Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was appointed to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert.
